Title VI Program sponsored for grades K-7 an Indian Education program. Janet Krueger from The Sault St. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians held a presentation with her daughter and granddaughters. The ladies spoke on the Native American Culture, their regalia and the meaning, how a natural healing method is used and most everything they wear is homemade along with their drums and shakers. Students afterwards were able to ask questions and view all their belongings.

Title VI Indian Education Coordinator brought grades 1-5 into the Title Room for a lesson on Native American Fry Bread. The classes read a book, did a writing about their family, word searches and coloring. Most of all they made their own Fry Bread, watched it cook and ate it!
Of course Friday’s classes the leprechaun got into the dough!
